It’s been a rough first three weeks for #1 overall pick, Trevor Lawrence. He is tied for the league lead with 7 interceptions, is completing just 54% of his passes, and his team is clearly a long way from being a serious contender.
Lawrence has also struggled badly against the blitz, completing just 6 of 22 passes for 86 yards, 1 TD, 2 INT, a 20.6 QB rating, and 3 sacks according to Pro Football Reference. His job won’t get any easier on Thursday night against a Bengals defense that will bring blitz pressure.

The Bengals defense has done an excellent job of creating lots of negative plays through the first three weeks of the season. They’ll try to do the same against the Jaguars’ rookie signal caller.
