If they can keep the Buccaneers to around 20 points, they have a chance. But whether it’s an injured Alex Smith or the unproven Taylor Heinicke starting at quarterback, the Football Team Offense vs. Buccaneers Defense is a severe mismatch, as you can see below:

The Football Team will need to pull a rabbit out of their hat to beat Tampa. They’ll need to generate turnovers. They’ll need to control the ball, likely with their passing game seeing as the Buccaneers have the #1 run defense in the NFL. Everything has to go right. It’s not impossible, but it will be difficult.
